Gambling
Section 349 of the Gambling Act 2005 required the Licensing Authority publish a Statement of Policy and Principals as to how it will exercise its functions under the Act.
Although the policy is monitored and reviewed continuously by the Licensing Section, the Gambling Act 2005 also requires that the policy be formally reviewed every 3 years.

- Occasional Use Notices
Where there is betting on a track for eight or less days in a calendar year, betting may be permitted by an Occasional Use Notice without the need for a full Premises Licence
- Remote Gambling
Remote gambling means gambling in which persons participate by the use of remote communication.
- Temporary Use Notices
A person holding an appropriate operating licence can serve a notice regarding the temporary use of a premises for the use for gambling without the necessary operator's licence.
