UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF)

The UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) was launched by the UK Government in April 2022 and was originally a three year programme to support the Government’s Levelling Up commitment. The Government has now announced that the programme will continue another year with a new set of themes and sub-themes (UKSPF 2025-26 technical note).
Our allocations for each year are:
- 2025/26: £327,146
- 2024/25: £702,142
- 2023/24: £198,572
- 2022/23: £99,286
So far the funding has been spent on a variety of projects, including:
- Training programmes, jobs and volunteering fair and our 'BIG training day'
- Town centre improvements
- Public toilet refurbishments
- Improvements to parks and open spaces
- Community grants
- Events to raise footfall in town centres
- Tourism Campaigns
- Energy efficiency measures including new boilers and insulation
- Three new solar powered smart bins
